CRNP’s (Clinical Registered Nurse Practitioners) are registered nurses with special advanced education and training. They serve as primary health care providers for acute illnesses, management of chronic medical problems, routine physicals and health teaching. They are able to diagnose and treat, including ordering lab work and x-rays, write prescriptions, and providing referrals to specialists when needed.
